March
2

The next week and beyond brings a mix of art, music, celebration, and even grand opera to Bend. Whether you're drawn to gallery walks, live blues, Irish whisky, or Wagner at the Met, there's something worth putting on the calendar.

March 6

Old Mill First Friday Art Walk
3:00–6:00 p.m.

On the first Friday of every month, the Old Mill District features regional artists showcasing paintings, sculpture, jewelry, handcrafted wood, photography, and ceramics. It's an easy way to engage with Bend's creative community and spend an early spring evening among working artists.

March 9

Devon Allman's Blues Summit
Tower Theatre | 7:30 p.m. | $44–$69

Blues meets rock and soul at the Tower Theatre, with musicians including Jimmy Hall, guitarist Larry McCray, and Sierra Green. Expect strong vocals, serious guitar work, and an evening that leans more live-music energy than background soundtrack.

March 14

Luck of the Irish Celebration
Juniper Preserve | 4:00–6:30 p.m. | $85

A pre–Saint Patrick's Day gathering featuring whisky tastings, Irish fare, and live music at Juniper Preserve. For those who appreciate a well-curated social event, this one combines atmosphere with tradition.

The Met: Live in HD – Tristan und Isolde
Regal Old Mill | 9:00 a.m.

The Metropolitan Opera's production of Tristan und Isolde comes to Bend on the big screen. Directed by Yuval Sharon, described by The New York Times as "the most visionary opera director of his generation," and starring soprano Lise Davidsen and tenor Michael Spyres, this Irish tale of a love potion and forbidden passion is one of the most powerful works in the operatic repertoire. Even if you're new to opera, this is an immersive cultural experience.

Bend's cultural calendar often reflects what many of us value about living here: access to the outdoors paired with meaningful arts and community experiences. If you enjoy having this kind of programming within easy reach of home, that accessibility is part of what makes the West Side particularly compelling.
